Hi,
Lumension Device Control is a software solution that is used to restrict access to physical devices (CD drives, printers, removable storage etc). Since installing Lumension Device Control on my PC I can't rip CDs with dBpoweramp. I have full read/write access to CDs and can rip using MediaMonkey and Media Player. However when I try and rip with dBPowermap each track errors with "Unable to read CD" and a small 57k file is saved to the hard drive for each track.
On checking the Lumension LEMSS server logs, CDGrab.exe is listed as NOPERMISSIONS WRITE-Denied.
As CDGrab.exe isn't a physical device I can't add it to the trusted device group in Lumension Device Control.
Do you know why CDGrab.exe is being detected as a physical device? How can I get detailed information on CDGrab.exe to pass to Lumension support?
Thanks
Wayne
