Program hangs.

Hi, been very satisfied with DBPoweramp so far. Lately, CD Ripper hangs after second CD ripped, during the encoding part. Cleaned CD lens but still hangs.

Any advise?

Try ripping to test encoder, does it hang then?

Set the encoder to 'Test Conversion'

Tried with Test conversion, that works fine.

Upon switching back to FLAC, problem of hanging during encoding the second CD persists.

I'm using Parallels on my Mac to access DB.

Any advise?

It is as though the writing of files is blocking, where are the files stored? locally on the MAC? or on a network?

The files are stored on a NAS.

After I reboot, the first CD rips successfully. It s the second CD at which it hangs up.

Try ripping to a local HDD as a test.

Indeed the problem was with my NAS. Just reflashed the NAS and everything seems A-Ok right now.
