Long Pause (Not Responding) when inserting CD before tracks are recognized

I just upgraded to DBPA 14, glad I'm within the v15 window. I used previous versions to rip ~1000CDs that I had accumulated over the years. Great software. But now I'm experiencing an issue. Since the v14 upgrade, when I insert a CD it takes ~two minutes to recognize the CD and populate the track...

When I'm tagging files, dBpoweramp seems to hang maybe one out of every 3-4 times. It happens when I'm tagging files on the local drive as well as on network drives. Windows end process dialog seems to point to GetPopupInfo.exe as the file that explorer is waiting for when this happens.

Have installed reference copy of dbPoweramp and perfectTUNES, - cant seem to get perfect TUNES to add album art. Whether i right click track, use FIXALL or just FIX one - its seems to stick at APPLYING ... and hangs indefinitely...

Using XP SP3, ripping to FLAC

Any ideas...

Hi, been very satisfied with DBPoweramp so far. Lately, CD Ripper hangs after second CD ripped, during the encoding part. Cleaned CD lens but still hangs.

Any advise?
