    try this for dynamic naming to get rid of the first 3 folders you don't want.

    [TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][origpath][][]\[origfilename]

      Thanks garym I will try this. However I have managed to resolve my initial apple music issues via the earlier smartlist suggestion.

        Plus, you could simply highlight and select all the artists files below "flac" folder in your example, then paste these directly into the APPLE directory you created. Then delete the "paul w", music, flac copies directories (which at this point will be empty). Then all your artist and album files in ALAC are underneath the upper level APPLE directory.
