I trialled an earlier version (?12) without difficulty. Yesterday I purchased the latest version (15). Before installing it, I uninstalled the previous version. Now when I try to run Batch Converter, I get a message saying "No audio files selected for conversion." Finding a similar post here from 2012, I uninstalled, restarted Windows (v7 SP1), and reinstalled: still the same. The files are a mixture of FLAC and MP3 so it's not linked to a specific codec. Any suggestions, please?

Re: Batch converter not recognizing audio files
You are able to browse to and select music files in Batch Converter?
It could be a permissions issue, right click on Batch Converter >> Run as Administrator -

Then 100% something on the system is stopping dBpoweramp from accessing the real files. Try to disable your anti-virus software as a test.Comment
