Installation problems

After using the latest music converter and being very impressed I decided to purchase it and download the registered version to my macbook.
Download was ok, open download and copied music converter to applications folder.
Opened the applications folder and picked on the music converter app, which opened the usual screen with batch converter, music converter etc.
Clicked on music converter which opened the download folder but the most files were greyed out including the dbPoweramp files.
So stuck.
I tried a reboot and I am logged in as an administrator.
