I am running dBpoweramp on my MAC OS Monterey 12.4 system. I want to convert all my WMA files to Apple lossless. But all my WMA files are grayed out. I have verified that there is NO DRM protection via my Windows 11 machine. Converter sees all my non WMA files just fine.

    I have searched...

    WMA support on MacOS

Hi, I've been a longtime user of dbPowerAmp, so was stoked when I saw it was now available for Mac. The dbPowerAmp Music Converter says
"Convert mp3, m4a (iTunes & iPod), WMA, WAV, AIFF, AAC, FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC) to name a few"
so I didn't research any further for...

Distortion when converting lossless wma to wave

Sorry if this has been posted before.

CDs ripped to lossless wma format. Everything sounds just great.
When I later convert those files to wave for burning a "party" disk, the audio sounds louder and some distortion can be heard.
    What could cause this?

    Cd toc

Which ripping formats support storing of CD TOC in the metadata?

I know WMA does, but is this the only format?

What I'd like is to use a Lossless codec (I've recently settled on Apple Lossless) which can store the original CD TOC fore future reference/reuse?

The same problem exists in the Music Converter program. I am unable to find/select...

I used the CD Ripper to rip a CD into FLAC format.

I want a copy of this CD in WMA Lossless format.

No WMA Lossless in Mac R15 version?

    Hello,

My primary use for dBpoweramp is to convert AIFF/ALAC/FLAC to WMA lossless for import into Sony's ancient SonicStage. I've been doing this quite happily with R14 on Windows (running as a VM on my Mac). Rather than just upgrading the Windows version to R15, I decided to get the...

Faster ways to create/edit ID tags?

Just bought dBpowerAmp because Windows Media Player kept losing the metadata on WAV files that I entered in WMP. Microsoft tells me the only way to ensure saving metadata is to save it in tags, not in the WMP database. Because WAV files do not have tags editable from File Explorer (in Windows 8.1),...
