Export settings from old PC to new one

I am retiring my 12-year-old Windows 8.1 PC and moving to a new Windows 11 one. How do I transfer all my settings across, except for CD drive-specific ones such as sample offset and C2 pointers? I'm using dBpoweramp Release 17.7.

Also, how do I reset the "Output To" file paths...

  • batch ripping start, stops immediately on first disk with "User cancelled" error

DBPA registered version / Nimbie Batch ripper / Windows 11 NUC direct attached.

Have successfully ripped about 500-ish discs up to this point. On starting a new batch, I load the Nimbie, press START RIP, and it loads first disc, reads disc (for a bit) and then immediately ejects the disc...

  • Keyboard Shortcut in Windows 11 for Metadata Editing in File Explorer?

When making unique metadata edits for individual tracks in an album or folder it can be tedious to have to right click on the file, mouse down the menu that opens, hover over dBpoweramp, move to Edit ID Tags and left click every time. I asked on the Windows 11 forum and got no answer,...

The CD is Gorillaz new album "The Mountain". I'm new (2 days so far!) to CD Ripper, so initially tried ripping it in Apple Music. All worked fine...

Can't convert AIFF files to AAC

I received 24-bit, 48 kHz AIFF files (created in Logic Pro) and decided to convert them to AAC format. I opened dBpoweramp Music Converter and was surprised that I can't open iCloud drive from within the app where the files were stored. Secondly, when I drag-and-dropped files on the the app's icon,...

De-emphasis not applying on my CD's

    Hello,

I wanted to rip my copy of The Dark Side of the Moon CD that has pre-emphasis. I have ripped it with the 'Apply De-emphasis to CD tracks marked with Pre-Emphasis' box checked and unchecked and both rips are the same. Why isn't dBpoweramp applying the de-emphasis? I new to CD ripping...

If I use the iTunes Artwork Finder by Ben Dodson (using iTunes API) the album art is available. Please advise if something has changed or broken. This was one of my most used features...

    FUA support activated by mistake

After buying a new PC, I reinstalled dbPoweramp a few weeks ago, using an ASUS BW-16D1HT Blu Ray Writer for ripping CDs.
By mistake, I chose the option "FUA supported" in the Secure ripping options, because the test-button inside the software said that my drive would support FUA. ...

Change of PC has stopped licence/access?

Hi, I have had many happy years using the converter. I have just upgraded my desktop and I am being told I need to re-register and pay for a new CD reader and converter. In the past I paid for a single PC access. I still wish a single PC access, just a changed one. How can I continue with my licence?...

    CD Drive Accuracy 2026

    Top Drives

AccurateRip collects data from all drives, normally this is only used to verify a disc is accurate, but can be reversed to calculate which drives are the most accurate (as measured by lowest % inaccurate tracks), on the basis that people who have a drive would have the same number...

  • Why does a disc rip accurately in one drive and fail in another?

I got a new Windows 11 desktop and set up CD Ripper for secure and accurate rips by determining the drive offset and copying all my settings from the old PC. FWIW, the drives are the same make and model, HL-DT-DT DVDR+/-RW GU90N, which is one of the drives marked [Purged] in the AccurateRip drive database....
