After buying a new PC, I reinstalled dbPoweramp a few weeks ago, using an ASUS BW-16D1HT Blu Ray Writer for ripping CDs.
By mistake, I chose the option "FUA supported" in the Secure ripping options, because the test-button inside the software said that my drive would support FUA.
Now I have read, that FUA should only be activated for Plextor-drives.
My question concerning the CDs that I have already ripped in the last weeks: May there be a deterioration of sound quality because of the falsely activated FUA-option only in rips which needed a second (or more) try in reading-out?
What about CDs which were ripped successfully in the first try (Accurate Rip)?
