Resampler in dBpoweramp, is a high quality resampler employed?

Over at HydrogenAudio is the Sample Rate Conversion Comparison https://src.hydrogenaudio.org

The popular Sample Rate Conversion routines are pitted against each other, across various tests: https://src.hydrogenaudio.org/technical

Let us jump straight in, dBpoweramps ARDFTSRC against Adobe Audition (recent version):

    https://src.hydrogenaudio.org/compareresults?id1=2e6d9ef1-9d6b-4586-9786-a6fb41fab152&id2=08b2dee5-102a-4d92-ab66-2dbb385a8de3

Let us delve into the components which make up this result.

A respectable result for both. Impulse Frequency next:

A clear difference, here the Adobe resampler is -180 dB on the response, dBpoweramp -320 dB. This can also be seen on the intermodulation test:

    Impulse Response and Phase next:

Very similar for both, Linear phase, note the lower score for Phase is weighted towards a minimum phase response, yet this would adversely effect other components of the test.

Sox has a well respected SRC, we test here v14.4.2, very high quality with extended bandwidth (99%):

Onto the components of the test:

    Very similar. Bandwidth now:

Here Sox is around 99% preserved. Impulse frequency:

There is the difference, Sox is likely limited here by the 32 bit float format which is the highest this cmd line accepts.

Finally gapless abilities, if converting two tracks from a live album, where one ends and the other starts straight without silence, we are looking for a good transition:

As we can see Sox cmd line is not optimal on gapless handling, that transition is likely audible and also hard clips.
