support to systematically rip large collections

hello db poweramp users and developers. i don't think that i'm too different from other obessessive music fans, i have thousands of cd's and i am extremely daunted by the process of ripping them all. the db poweramp is my favorite ripper of all time and i want to use it in my set-up to rip all of my cd's. i've bought a scsi boffin tower full of 5-disc cd-rom changers. and still, without writing a macro (can i do this?) i can't get my dbpoweramp to rip from more than one drive in a pass. in other words, i have to sit there and wait for each cd to finish and then instruct the software to begin another rip on the next cd.
are there any plans to support multi-drive ripping for the future? even people that don't have cd rom towers but who might have two or three drives in their desktop would find this helpful.
if there is a way to do this that i'm just not finding, please lemme know. i can't5 stand having all these cd's and not having them on a hard drive server.
    thanks,
    taylortronic

There are plans, but it is a very long away from releasing.

      mr. spoon,

i guess the world will have to wait i had received an email about this from you last april that sounded a little more hopeful than your response to this thread. honestly, there is, like, only one program that claims to do this (i won't mention the name, but the fact is that it didn't work AT ALL!). my hat is off to you for developing such a great program, i've been looking at ripping programs for just this reason for two years. i just wanted to ask one quick question which might be a little off the beaten path for this forum... could i accomplish what i'm trying to do by using macros with your program?

i hope this topic isn't too much of a bother for you; i guess i'm assuming that you can sympathize with a fellow music lover.

      thanks for everything,

If you are not familiar with this thread, you may want to review it (it contains some good tips on facilitating the ripping of large collections):
Although dbPowerAmp is a fully featured and impressive ripper, it still fails to meet the real life situations of today's music lover. After searching and reviewing the forum for batch and automated methods, I find that there exists no method to rip my entire CD collection by putting a CD into the tray, CD being ripped and

I can't advise on the macro front.

        Best wishes,
