Re: Cataloging Music Collection
Not sure about the database part, but I know that via dMC's Multi-Encoder codec, currently in beta, you can rip CDs to both FLAC and mp3 at the same time.

Re: Cataloging Music Collection
I wish to convert my music collection using dbpowerAMP to FLAC for archiving and then subsequently to an appropriate greater compressed format for portable use.
Thereafter or rather simultaneously I wish to catalog these files using a database program designed for musing files and their associated data. I wish also to be cataloged the original location of the CDs in my players carousel.
I have downloaded Media Catalogue Studio from Maniac Tools http://www.maniactools.com which I have yet to use much.
I would love to see a product like this tied to dbpoweramp which automatically logs data acquired during ripping that could then be cataloged and searched in a database.
Any suggestions?
