    Ogg Vorbis 1.1.1

    well, it's a pretty simple request for today I like the new sound, aoyumi has tuned this mofo something fierce. Check guruboolez' thread on hydrogenaudio, it's splendid reading! :D

    I assume you are referring to his very interesting listening test on classical samples converted to various formats at vbr around 180 kbs. documented here:


    This is indeed a great piece of work and interesting reading for those who are considering what encoder to use. Perhaps we'll see a dB version of vorbis 1.1.1 soon!

      Thanks Bill, I should have linked but was in a hurry It's amazing how far Ogg Vorbis has come, esp. with hardware support in portable players. I use it for everything now because of the amazing quality.
