These would be options that musicians would find appealing. The ability to slow a track down in order to hear all of the notes played in a complex passage and the ability to play a passage over and over in a loop in order to learn it faster.
oh I see... well until something like this is made for dbpoweramp, I think that some movie players, such as MV2 player could surve the purpose... I know that It is posible to play just audio files with this player (and probably others), and that you can change the rate of the song, and to make a loop is also posible...
