    MSN - song title display...

In your personal message. Winamp lets you do this already; would be nice if something was done making it possible to show your currently playing with dbpoweramp too . Love the program as it is though anyway, but this would be nice

It's MSN that taps into Windows Media Player or maybe also Winamp to report what's being played.

Does that make it possible for it to also "tap into" dbpoweramp? Sorry for the late reply; been busy :(...

As for time, I could learn (pretty fast learner) and try to code the patch myself, but I'd need someone to point me in the right direction..?

well the programers of msn make these kinda plugs as far as I know...

but if you can read from a text file or somthing like that then you may want to know, that QueMaster while the "info" panel is on saves a textfile with the popup info for the current song playing as "c:\qm.txt". I could add to the next version to save a text file somewhere when the song changes if it'll help...

Found a source code for a program called foo_msn (forgot the URL, if someone has an upload directory I'd be glad to upload!). Anyway, this is for winamp, and utilises the MSN thing... If anyone can change it to use dBpowerAmp... :smile2: ... I tried doing it myself, but yeah, I'm a noob.

As for waiting for a MSN modder... well... although there are very many of them out there, it doesn't seem enough of them use dBpowerAmp to really give it a crack, hence why I came here .
