    m4b Encoding Support

Would it be possible to add .m4b encoding support? I use this when converting mp3 books for my iPod...

    Thanks!

Re: Beta m4a, .mp4 (AAC & Apple Lossless) Codec

Split from Beta thread and moved to Wishlist.

Edit: Also, download the top mp4/m4a encoder/decoder Codec, convert your files, and change the file extension to m4b. If you cannot see the extensions, go to Control Panel --> Folder Options --> View and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

Sorry for posting in wrong area...

I already do that, just curious if a check box could be added to change the file ext to .m4b vice m4a... Not a real big deal, just a suggestion... :D

      Thanks!

You can change the default extension that is used on the files, IIRC. Its a text-file in the corresponding Compression folder in your dBpowerAMP install directory.

Will be adding a specific m4b encoder in the next few weeks, for now the you can rename the line in options.txt
