    Nero mp3pro encoder

Please add support for the nero mp3pro encoder. This Thomson Player solution is extremly limited and lots of cheap portable players now have mp3pro support. At80kbit it makes pretty decent sounds for the space used, good for smaller flash players without wma 9.x support.

    Re: Nero mp3pro encoder

I see that back in October or so Spoon tried to make a plug-in to do this, but it crashed whenver he tried to encode to mp3pro. Not sure if he's tried again or not. If you want higher bitrates, try MusicMatch, mabye? It lets you set the bitrate and even has a VBR option. And remember that, in order to sound right, the flash player MUST support mp3pro specifically.

I can use it from nero it allows all possible frequency/bitrate options including vbr, but would be cool to have it available in dbpoweramp.
I am aware of the pro support issues. I have two flash players. both support pro, one also supports wma9.x which is even better at low bitrates than mp3pro.

Out of curiosity, what MP3 players do you have that support MP3pro?

They are both made by ELTA (german brand).

Or pretty much any RCA mp3 player.
