Ripping secret track needs to be more user-friendly

    Hi Santa..

I've been using dBpowerAMP's music converter for some time now.. It’s got all the features i need, but still missing something I use to use.

The secret track function, or Audio parameters as you might call it, is a little difficult to use. In my old ripper program, there was a progress bar and a listening opportunity. You could listen trough the track and set a starting point and an ending point in the song. I miss that feature. The rest of that program sucked by the way. That's why I’m using yours now. :smile2:

    I agree, like Audiocatalyst

I used to use Audiocatalyst (I know, Xing is terrible, blah blah... but that encoder was fast as hell). Anyway, they used to allow you to mark beginning and ending point on a track prior to ripping. This was necessary for CDs that had "hidden songs" at the end that followed long periods of silence. Another variation on the problem is that the "hidden song" is within the same track as the last song. Some way to split them is really useful.
