    Automatically save copy of library

One of the thing that worries me about Dbpoweramp is that I might accidentally delete or lose the library file, or make a horrible mistake like name all the tracks the same artist.

So I'm suggesting a feature that could automatically save a copy of the library file in another location, so I could restore it, and possibly use it to "rewrite id tag".

The options could be something like, save every x number of...
    ...days
    ...hours of dbpoweramp use
...number of changes to the library
or just before the auto track lookout occurs.

    good idea, bad idea?

something that auto backups the .mcc and .mcg file would be great.

for now you can make copies manually with collection -> save as and then you can type in the current date, so you can know since when you haven't saved... that's what I do... from time to time... seems like a good idea anyway...

Well currently I have it in a briefcase folder, so I can update it with one click, but I still forget from time to time. I was hoping for something that you can forget about until it comes to needing it.
