    Pitch effect

    Hello there,
I'm a newbie on this forum. I am looking for the possibility to RIP an audiofile from a CD and then speed up the audiofile with about 2,2%. A function like MasterTempo is not needed, I do need a higher pitch!

Hopefully someone knows how to do this with DbPowerAmp or knows a DSP Effect.

    greetings,

    DeeJens

    Re: Pitch effect

The latest version of Audacity (audio editor) can change pitch, tempo, or both.
Its a nice free program also. Just type in a search.
    Best wishes.

I would love one of these too.

I use a simple DSP within WinAmp to shift the tempo, but I would be nice if I could convert the actual file using dMC.

Is there any way to make dMC use the DSP from Winamp?

        Re: Pitch effect

An alternative would be to capture the file with the Auxiliary Input while playing it in real time, checkmarking the "Stereo Mix" fader control (or whatever your soundcard calls it) instead of the "Line-In" fader.
Not as simple as pressing a button, but it still works.
