    the music collection

    Hi,

first off I want to say that I'm a tremendous fan of dB player and I love it to death(well, not literally:P). It beats whatever else out there.
Regarding my wish, I should perhaps elaborate a bit on my situation.

Where I live there are often arranged home parties with the music being played off a computer. I usually just have the music collection window open, so poeple are free to search and enqueue any song that they desire. The problem is, after a while people start nagging ''isn't X song coming soon, or what about Y song??''. What I would like to do is the option to rearrange the songs enqueued in the music collection without opening the playlist editor. I rarely open the playlist editor, so my only option to satisfy people wanting X and Y song played is to either search for their song again, or use the ''randomize queued items''. Which can take a few clicks. So to sum it up, to emphasize what I want:

The option to freely rearrange the songs queued in the music collection without opening the playlist editor.

    Hope this was somewhat understandable.

    Thanks in advance,

There is a program called QueMaster that allows you to do this, I THINK.
QueMaster is a program built for more control over the Enqued list in dBpowerAmp

      Hi and thanks for reply.

It is exactly what I am looking for, but this still involves tabbing back and forth through the windows to do the rearrangment. Not possible to add a 'move up' or 'move down' button to the right click menu where you find 'clear all queued items' and 'randomize all queued items'?

Right now, no. If I remember correctly, improved queue control is under Spoon's list of things to do before the next version is released this year.
