Audio Stream Cutting

I would find super that dbPoweramp include an option allowing us just to encode a part of a file by cutting it. Because of the different "nature" of the audio formats, I know that there isn't an "universal" cutter. So, at the beginning, it could be well to include a cutter for popular formats such as wave (& CD Audio track), mp3, mp2, ogg, wma, perharps ac3.

I'm a long time user of dbpoweramp (4yrs) and i would love to see the great developers create a splitter/cutter/joiner. For me this will make an already awesome product even BETTER. Any hopes of such a thing happening as a utility add-on?
