As a general idea, I'm personally against having special sorting rules (such as ignoring "the" and "a" at the beginning of artist names) just for sheer elegancy, but just one minor tidbit I was thinking of a minute ago was ignoring apostrophes while sorting. I was looking for the song "I've Been Tired" after "Is She Weird?" but soon realized that the apostrophe, not the v, was sorted to match the s. Does the algorithm used for sorting allow for modifications such as this one?
