it would be nice to specify which files to select with the file selector based on more than just location, such as file type (ie only mp3 or m4a) or bit rate (ie all above/below/at 128kbps). i've used different file types and now have a few different types in my collection, and even with the file selector i will have to basically hand select which files to convert if i want to, for example, convert all my lossless wma to flac or ape without converting any other files. kudos to spoon for such a killer app!

The file selector already has the ability to only process certain file types. It is not however able to select by bit rate.
One of the button at the top of the main window allows for the selection of the various file types that should be seen. I'm not at home at the moment so I can not check out which button it is.
