I like my collection sorted by artist, then year, then album, then track number. So, giving us a third and fourth sort item would be awesome...

3rd and fourth? there are 18 colums you can sort/rearrange or remove/add. when in MMC click on collection and then preferences. -

I think he means that he'd like to be able to sort by artists, then, in that artists' block, sort the songs by year. Then, for each year block, sort them by albums, and then sort the songs by track number. Basically, he wants to be able to sort by all four columns at the same time.Originally posted by Razgo

In the Music Collection Preferences, Spoon calls it the "Collection 2nd Sort Item", and it's by default on [smart], I guess he wants a 3rd and 4th, all user selectable.Comment

RossRoy got it... Right now I have 2nd sort item set to album. It's nice how it sorts by track number within that. But, I would like it sored by year, then album, then track number. That would require giving us at least one more Sort Item preference.Comment

Also it would be nice to be able to just grab a column and drag it to a new position.

For the moment my efforts go on Sveta (have to rewrite all drivers for new version :( ), and the new advanced dMC tagging (which needs all the codecs looking at), there is weeks, if not months worth of work, if only there were more Spoons...Comment
