Field length indicator for tag editor

It would be helpful to have an adjustable field length for the various fields in the tag editor.
Some players (the mp3 player in my car, for instance) will only accept up to a certain number of characters (n=30 in my case) and if >n are on the field the player will not read it. Example: "Silver Threads & Golden Needles" contains 31 characters, and it enters with no problem in the TITLE field, but when played in my player it shows "NO TITLE" on the display.
Can you perhaps add an option to limit the fields to n characters where n is user-adjustable (and 0 would be maximun/unlimited)?

Run dMC Configuration and set the ID Tags to 'Never v2'
