Old Keyboards and play, skip, rew, pause, vol+, vol-, & mute

I see that you (Spoon) are working on a applets for keyboards that have the play/rew/ff/pause buttons. What about those of us that are stuck with the old 101 keyboards? I currently have a little utility that lets me use CTRL-"up key" to increase volume and ALT-space to mute (all keys are assignable). How about something like this for us 101ers?
