Okay, now this is a trick I used to use with MASSIVE webserver log analysis. If you compressed the file and then un-compressed the file and streamed that output and used it as input for the analysis program you got Like 150%-200% speed boost in most cases because the compressed data was read at twice the rate as normal data. Could this be done for dMC? Yeah, probably not, the more I think about it. But it's an idea I thought I'd share anyway.

In theory if you get a Lossless codec, it will do that - although you would need a slow hard disk and a fast proecessor.
