If you could ever create a crossfader for your player as good as the winamp2 plugin from SqrSoft® Advanced CrossFading v1.7, then I would erect a statue in your honor.

I will include a link to the creators home page. Evidently he no longer works on this project. This crossfader is better than having a dj! I can set up a party playlist and let it go. The crossfader plugin has a vast number of options and configurations. What I like in a crossfader is to have one song fade out while the following song begins at full volume, not a fade in. The plugin allows the next song to begin when the previous song drops below a selected db level during fade. I think the plugin is fantastic for continuous play, parties, etc. The author even has an disk writer output plugin for creating continuous play cds.
