I wish you could add the .cue sheet & HDCD futures in the Mac Version of dBpower.

Re: dBpower Mac Version
What Dat Ei has correctly pointed out is that the HDCD technology is now owned by Microsoft. It is unlikely therefore, that Microsoft will allow that technology to port to any Apple platforms.Comment

Re: dBpower Mac Version
I doubt that Apple would want it anyway. That goes against their desire for total control of their products.Comment

Re: dBpower Mac Version
is there any plans to bring additional codecs over to the Mac software? For instance DSD, OGG ?? It is not that I want to play these formats on my iMac, but sometimes need to convert between on format to another and would rather not be forced to reboot into bootcamp just to bring up the windows version to convert a song file.Comment

Re: dBpower Mac Version
hi Mr. Spoon,
I am now a proud owner of the Mac Version on the dBpower 16.2 ref., for Mac.
the trial version was too long on my MacBook Pro (-;
really, clean neat & simple ...
just a couple things ... :
1 ] as you mentioned .. you cannot include the .cue sheet in this OS X version .. guess I will have to live with this , as I do often make full rips (unsplit) of live recordings for example ...
2 ] this version doesn't have a priority setting
3 ] on setting the HDCD setting in the DSP, there is not track technical in the main window to see whether the track is HDCD or not.
other wise ... I'm happy with the app
pls find attached the settings I am using fir this version ... pls help if I need to change anything ....
p.s : pls could u help with the disable clipping prevention .. do I click it or not (-;Last edited by Hitarth; February 26, 2018, 08:54 AM.Comment

Re: dBpower Mac Version
Any options, if you are unsure about them, leave as default. For most people the default settings are the correct settings.Comment
