dMC Audio CD Input and Disc-ID

I know that it is possible to find out a particular CD's disc-id by selecting the AccurateRip results option but I wondered if it would be possible for the disc-id to be displayed on the main interface (as well). Possibly at the bottom on the status line along with the total number of tracks and length etc.

Can anyone also explain the relationship between the disc-id used as look up to FreeDB and the value stored in cdplayer.ini?

Yes you can, for example this disc:
