Software Licenses

I have used various dbpoweramp software packages since 2011 including CD Ripper & Perfect Tunes for Windows.
I have moved away from pcs to an iMac.
Do I have now to purchase new software licences intended for macOS?
Is there any way of converting the present licenses, which are no longer required, to macOS versions?
