What are you impressions of the player? I have a 60GB on order from Creative.
Can you play NON-TAGGED files on the player? I have many audio books ripped to 32kbps MP3 and never bother to tag them. Can they be played?
Thanks,

I think I am right in announcing support for all of Creatives range of current Jukeboxes, before installing though get this release 4 of Sveta from here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?p=9179#post9179 Then install a Sveta driver: For Jukebox & Jukebox C & Jukebox 10GB & JukeBox 20GB:Comment

Sure its a little bigger, but that's OK by me. If I really need a smaller player, I use my Rio Nitrus - which is simply awesome to hold 300 songs for the size of the popular flash players.Comment

Re: Nomad Zen Xtra in Sveta
I'm glad to hear you like the Zen Xtra better than the Karma. The main reasons I went for the Zen Xtra are the 60 GB capacity and the replaceable battery.
I have just recently heard of Sveta. What are the key features/advantages of using it for transfers? I've heard that Red Chair Software's Notmad Explorer is great ($25). I will give Nomad Explorer a try when I get my player today and then decide if a software substitute is needed.
Is there a way to navigate by just the file/folder tree on the Xtra?
Also, can NON-TAGGED files be played on this unit?
Thanks!Comment

Re: Nomad Zen Xtra in Sveta
Hello,
I am new to this forum but i have been looking EVERYWHERE for a best buy or circuit city that sells the zen xtra so i can make sure i get that warrenty plan. Can you PLEASE PLEASE tell me what best buy store you purchased it from? I dont care if its out of state or wahtever, if you could just tell me the city and state that it was located in that would be GREAT.
Thank you very much,
THANKS!!!!!

Nomad Explorer is OK. I don't use it much as I transfer from Mediasource (and soon Poweramp). However, the Xtra is awesome. I ordered both the Xtra and Karma. I compared them both and sent the Karma back. I like the sound of the Xtra. The screen is better too and the anodized aluminum finish is simply awesome. The biggest downer is the dial on the side. It feels like it will last a year at best. I got a 4 year service plan from BB just for this reason.

I think it is pretty much central for the Creative player Jukebox range, they need ID Tags to organise everything. Although if your files are named ARTIST - TRACK then atleast that info can be taken from the filename.Comment
