    Song spacing dsp

    Hello

Is it possible to create a dsp that can allow you the choice that essentially results for the exact same spacing of silence between all songs from the time the music actually ends to the time the next song starts?

    Thanks

      Hi Spoon

What I understand from minimum lenghth is that silence will be written to shorter files to "reach" the chosen minimum file length (longer files are left untouched).

What I'm rather pointing to is just the silence "part" at the end of a song after the music has finished. I mostly listen to music on shuffle so it would be great if the silencing at the end of each song could be a choice. A dsp that would essentially either trim silence or write silence to the existing file to produce a standard silence gap between each song.

      Thanks

In this case you would use the DSP effect 'Trim Silence' to remove silence, and after add a DSP effect 'Write Silence'

Was just wondering if there was a dsp that could do this all at once in bulk - because every song has a different lenghth of "end-silence" already imbedded.

Trim Silence does this, it is based on audio volume.

Of course. I had trim in my head. Apologies.

Can I do it all together in one step or must it be done in two? Is force non live relevant?

              Thanks

You can do in 1 step, force live should not be required.
