mediaplayer 9 without controllers but with status

Who can tell me how to programm
microsoft mediaplayer 9 without
controlliers showing but with the status data,
so you can see the file is loading?

Maybe there is a skin for it like that?
I'm currently using a program called girder that can control medai player (or any other program) and with some plug-ins it can show you (on an OSD) what is playing, status, time...
