    Just started Using

So far I am very impressed.
I downloaded the beta 3 this morning and really enjoy the new features.
But I am still using MusicMatch for some features you do not have yet.
If they were added you would have me 100%.

    1. Drag and Drop playlist changes.
This includes dragging from the music collection and re-adjusting the current playlist. I see that you can right click on a music collection selection and create playlist, but it would be nice to continue adding selections.

    2. Disable the en-queue.
I really enjoy the way MusicMatch handles the temporary playlist. Adding, deleting, moving the files as they play. I mainly use playlists . So if I load up a list of 200 songs and would like to put in a different song next I have to clear the queue and start over.

    3. Shuffle playlist.
I will have a playlist of over a 100 songs, but I do not want to listen to them in the same order every time. I would like to be able to shuffle them up... or better yet a random play for the playlist. I realize you have the random for the music collection and the 'selective' function.

Right now I am loading MusicMatch and creating, altering my playlists and loading them in dbPoweramp.
Don't get me wrong, I think you guys have a great product... but I will wouldn't really recommend it as an alternative yet.

    Keep up the good work!

    -Samuel

    Good ideas.

Number 3 is already done (right click on one track in playlist >> sort >> random)

        Another suggestion...
Explore what you can do with Selective play and Random play MMC and how you can save different selections... I like it a lot (it has a slight drawback: when you add tracks it gets put into every saved selection:()
        but nevertheless... great feature...

And another suggestion - use QueMaster ...
in beta 3 it will get playlist support and maybe I'll add that temporary playlist thing....

I know this probably belongs in another forum, but...

I've tried using the quemaster 2000...
Everytime I try and run it I get stuck in a loop of error msgbox's and I can only turn it off by killing the thread in TaskManager.

            first error is:
            'I/O error 105'

            subsequent errors:
            'invalid arguement to date encode'

              Hmm, I'm confused - Quemaster 2000?
The quemaster I had written can be downloaded from my signature...

                <my apologies>
                poor attempt at humor.

Yes, I downloaded it from your signature.

I downloaded your first version, then the beta 2. Both gave me the same error.

                  Ok I'll look into it...
In the mean time check if it is in the dbpoweramp directory (next to the amp.exe) and try running it from there...
Also - what OS are you using?

                    Hi donny,

Cool initiative to make extra pgms for dAP!!! I had the same problem with the Quemaster pgm. I just checked if installation points at the right folder and it does so... guess there must be something else causing it... I use Win 2000...
I'd love to see your pgm working

Yep, that is where it lives.
                      Win 2000 server at work
                      Win XP Pro at home

                      both are a no go

                      btw,thanks for the replies.

Well, as I said, I had looked into it and found the bugs... It was a problem on first start before the ini file is generated and then the progg gets jamed:(
                        I'm sorry I haven't tested this....
The answer would be to create a blank qm.ini in the dbpower directory....
The better way ... download the new beta i have released today...
It has the bugs fixed( or at least I hope so...) On first run you will have to click Open and (under windows XP and 20000 selesct the file that is named YourUserName.Enqued... On next start it will load automatically....

                            Hey it works... thanks.
I'll play with it for a while and give you my impressions.

Very good of you to create a utility like this.
