Upgrade built-in Wav support to include 24 bit!

    Hi Guys!

    Great program!
I use it every time I need to import mp3 or older 8bit audio into my work.

Today I encountered a 24 bit wav file, and discovered that dMC doesn't
support this? Is this true, or is it my windows NT system that's missing
    a codec?

Anyway, please make sure the next version supports it,
    that would be cool.

check this page out and see if it is what you were looking for : http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dbpoweramp-dsp.htm

I'm not sure if they work bug free. check the beta forum if you find any though.

No, as far as I can tell, they are used to convert a 16 bit file
into a higher bitrate for use with other plugins.

My problem is the other way around:
I have an original 24 bit file, that I can't use before converting it
into 16 bit, and for this I'd like to use dMC... when it supports it ;-)

      But thanks for the suggestion.
      Best Regards
      M.

Coming soon (few weeks) - there will be a Wave 24 Bit Codec, this will write 24 bit wave files.

There will also be a DSP effect that can professionally dither down 24 bits to 16 or 8.
