    powerpack feature to lengthen track

    Hello,

I am looking for another feature to batch time-stretch a large number of MP3's by approx 114% - is there a powerpack feature I'm missing or extension avialable for DBPOWERAMP for this feature by chance?

Add silence to the end or slow the audio down so the track is longer?

      Spoon -

I'm trying to slow the audio down so the track is longer - somehow the recordings was recorded slightly to fast (appox 14% faster than it should have been) and I'm trying to slow down the entire track appox 14-15% - is this possible with PowerPack or an extension to do a mass number of Mp3 recordings?

P.S. - an excellent handle, Spoon!

The Soundblaster Audigy has an EAX effect for time stretching without altering the audio quality, but I think you have to use PlayCenter as your media player.

Implementing EAX effects for SoundBlaster owners would be great, but I don't know if the time stretching functions (as well as automatic pop/hiss/noise removal) are secret function or if they are available through an EAX SDK or something.

What you are looking for is a free bit of software called BeSweet, also make sure you get the BeSweet GUI, you'll need it unless you like working via the CLI

It can expand and shrink, without changing anything else

It will also enable those that need to speed up/slow down a movie soundtrack if you are doing the horrible job of converting from NTSC to PAL or even worse PAL to NTSC, but the facilities are there
