    album art

I'd like to see a few things in album art:

    - ability to see a 1:1 copy of the image. Some of these album art photos look bad at full resolution.

    - ability to download the album art without re-ripping my CDs. I've found some album art that I downloaded when I ripped that sucked. I can use dbPowerAmp to find new art, but to download it, I apparently have to re-rip my cd.

Your second point, select the whole album of tracks >> Right Click >> Edit Tags, then you can add from the Internet just like in CD Ripper.

I noticed when I upgraded to R14 that you could add album art to multiple files. That's awesome. Makes my life a lot easier and I appreciate it (Things just get better and better w/ dBpA!)

I have a different problem. I have "Ripper" on two computers. On my old computer when I rip it always brings up the album art. On my new computer it seldom brings up album art. I'm running R14 on both. What setting do I have wrong.

        TIA

First, thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, I have DB Power amp R 14 and Norton Utilities on the new computer (which is the one not getting the album art.) I am using Kaspersky on my old computer. Any idea which setting might need changing?

Try disabling Norton as a test.

It is Reference R14 you have (with unlimited metadata)?

Yes, I have DB PowerAmp Reference 14. Here is what I did that seems to have fixed the situation. I went to the Setting section on the Norton control panel. I went to Network>Program Control. The 3 DBP program entries were set to Auto, I changed that to Allow on all three. I closed out and rebooted. I tried to rip another cd, but it still didn't bring up the album art. I went back to the control panel and in the Network Protection section I turned OFF Smart Firewall. The program issued all sorts of warnings and threatened all forms of retribution short of sending my IP address to WikiLeaks, but I persisted. It finally allowed me to turn the Smart Firewall OFF for 15 mins. I quickly loaded a cd and Voila, I had album art. The Firewall dutifully turned back on after 15 mins. But since that time, I have had album art without a problem. I don't know why that 15 mins. made a difference in the behavior of the software, but it did. I have recounted this in case someone else encounters this problem...sorry, issue. (We are no longer allowed to have problems, only issues.) Also, it feels good to show a piece of Smarta** software who's boss on ocassion.
