Secure Rip CD's to Different Image Files

I've been using dBpoweramp for years to rip my music CD's to audio files and it works great, but lately I've been wanting to back up all my CD's as image files to store on an external HD. I looked into other programs that could rip the disc "securely", but there don't appear to be many out there. There is EAC, but the only way it makes images is by making 1 or multiple .FLAC or.WAV files and a .CUE file. I want just ONE file. I've read that there are ways to embed the .CUE file into the .FLAC file, but I don't understand exactly how you do this (no step-by-step instructions) and it really sounds more complicated and time consuming than I am prepared to get.

What I would like to see is dBpoweramp be able to make a straight up 1 to 1 copy of my audio CD's in the image format of my choice (preferably .nrg, .uif, etc., that would leave me with just ONE file and can be mounted using most virtual drive software such as Daemon, Magic ISO, etc.) and can verify the image against the original using AccurateRip or something just to verify that there were no errors in the rip. That's it, simple. Just put the disc in, select my preferences and accurately rip it to a disc image file. Can this be done? Has it already with something I haven't heard of yet?

In the world of audio cue images are the norm, not .nrg, etc, see:

Cue sheet creator, a few requirements of this codec: Only works when ripping audio CDs, All tracks of the CD have to be ripped at the same time. It requires Release 15 of dBpoweramp (currently in testing). There are 2 ways to use this Cue Sheet Generator: 1) Multiple tracks + cue sheet, simply include the DSP Effect: CUE
