Not sure if this post belows as a "wish list" item or an issue under the dMC tread, but:
- the problem: Ran Replaygain on about 900 files. One file was apparently corrupt. The CPU running the processing on this one file hung indefinitely, limiting me to just the other cpu processing files. At the end of processing all other files when it would be time for writing all the album gain tags, the utility codec just hung, probably because one file hung and had not completed processing.
- the proposed enhancement: add the ability to cancel processing by cpu when running utility codecs so that one bad file doesn't slow an entire batch run.
I realize with just the change above I still could end up with crap for the one album that had a bad file, but I'm OK with that. Thanks.
