I know that i already mentioned this when I wrote my whole list of suggestions, but I know once people read posts, they probably will not read it again.
In the other post, I recommended that dBpoweramp should include some sort of ac3enc or some sort of AC3 encoder.
I read on another post that Aften produces high quality ac3 compared to FFMPEG's ac3enc. Plus, I heard that it will NOT DROP in any sound quality.
Maybe IF you decide to make a ac3 encoder you can base if off of the AFTEN engine. I also read on another posts on this forum as well that someone tried to use the CLI encoder from dbpoweramp with Besweet's ac3(which I think is ac3enc) and it did drop a little in quality.
So my suggeston is: make a ac3 codec for dbpoweramp based upon AFTEN.
Another suggestion that peple may or may not use is: bwf wav. I know that reference has bwf mp2, so why not include bwf wav? But since I do not know a whole lot about codecs, maybe the European broadcast union's version of bwf wav is the same thing as windows wav. Who knows?
