Here are some suggestions. Please note that I have not upgraded to Reference 13 yet, so all these suggestions could be irrelevant.
1.) CD Burner--ADD "Burn from cue file" with disc-at-once option. Abiliity to burn TOC as well.
(WHOOPS...SOMEONE ALREADY SUGGESTED THIS IDEA! PLUS, IT IS BE IMPLEMENTED. NICE!)
2.)Ripper(cd Indput or industrial)--rip CD to one big wav file. Or industrial, rip each cd to a separate wav file.
3.) New App suggestion: dBpoweramp wav editor. Simple editor for retracking ripped CD's. It would be connected to CD Burner, so if you wanted to burn the "re-tracked" tracks, you do could it then and now.
(This suggestion was kind of suggested by Elic as he or she suggested a way to split tracks for a hidden track. But I would like to take that a step further and suggest a small editor where you can track anything from a big wav file. )
4.) Renissance Front-End for those who feel intimidated by command-line (like me!)
5.) Music Converter: audio delay profiles for SVCD for the mp2 format similar to that of Dspurugu(?) in the mp2 toolame codec. Include sync. Also include BOOST. Maybe of Reference or power pack option?
6.) CD Burner: Multi-session option with wizard so people can make data and audio cd's.
7.) Splash Screen. I am not kidding you. Something like "dBpoweramp" created by SPOON--All Rights Reserved.
8.)Purchasing: price for ALL PROGRAMS including reference and audio server and will be downloaded by one link once the server has received payment.
9.)Purchasing Power--Making a pact with Frys Electronics, Staples, and some other electronic stores to sell a Retail Verson of Dbpoweramp with a Spoon Manual. Suggested Retail of $70--all Programs included.
10.) RipNAS: Make a Personal Edition ripper for $250 with 500 gigs of storage so those who cannot afford the $2000 version can still get a rip server.
11.)Last suggestion: If someone has purchased a full bundle, then make a program in which can access ripper, converter, buner, audio server, and other related programs from one friendly beginning screen such as Nero's "Start Smart," which then would go to the respected part of dbpoweramp.
12.) Oh, another suggestion(web related) only: Make links in a forum or on the CD burner page where one can purchase 90 minute cds as they are generally not at your average retail store--not even at Frys.
That's it.
Oh yeah, and anyone's personal Vendetta: Get Dolby Labortories to stop being so secretive and let people encode in that format already. The mp3 format maybe was secretive at one time and now they have players and units all over the place. But Dolby should give people the right to add a ac3 encoder in their program and give the royalties to Dolby and then make that available so that people can purchase a license to encode in ac3, and not just decode but encode.
Just laughs and giggles (don't actually do this because we do not want lawsuits or irritated people) : Wouldn't it be funny and annoying at the same time if while the cd is being burned the CD burner program plays "the superman theme." I told you it was just for laughs and giggles.
