thank you for reply me spoon but I did that and nothing appended??? any more sug here ???? my eac is on my xp laptop (bitdefender) while my dbpoweramp is on my desktop vista x64 (norton) so I disabled my norton firewall to make sure it was not my problem but still the same result.......still give me the guess who cd information but nothing for my children cd info should dbpoweramp13 be doing a random db from many internet source(they are all enabled on my ID tag drop menu) including freedb.....should it be possible that dbpoweramp does not do a good job as eac when trying to access freedb?? I just did pay this software yesterday in hoping to have a more friendly user software for ripping my cd's collection but if I have to type 1/2 cd ID tag that won't be very friendly

Potentially freedb is not working on your 2nd PC - insert a popular CD (with no internet connected - remove the wire), then connect internet and manually fetch titles from the freedb. If it does not work then something is stopping the access.
