well, Really it would be nice to have multi playlist creation options when converting, OR just a plugin that lets you create playlists as a conversion option.
I have a few Samsung PMP's, the ones i use the most are my 2 u3's and my t10, creating playlists for OGG are impossible on the T10 due to a firmware bug, and the u3 its a SLOW process due how vista deals with MTP devices(slow as hell)
If I could create the playlist externaly then just drop it in with the music/audio books I put on the player then it would speed things up, hell it could even allow me to convert my u3's to UMS/MSC devices(faster under vista, seen as flash drive insted of media device)
