    Reverse Lookup

I have some CD's that have been copied but the software is not able to identify the album/tracks etc. It would therefore be great if there was a reverse lookup of artist/album name etc to try and identify the album and then be able to complete the track names with the appropriate tags etc.

      Re: Reverse Lookup

I appreciate that, but the online databases can (as I saw with MusicMatch) be enquired by more than just the data encoded on the CD. Therefore, if the user provided artist and album title, then there could be a lookup on the database and return the metadata accordingly.

Whilst I am not a techy by nature, this would require some front end data input and the use the input within an SGL type script

But currently, dMC only uses meta-data sources when it is ripping CDs.
