Possibly WMAGain For A DSP Effect?

One thing that would really be nice (Especially since I can't find anything like this at all), is if there could be a DSP Effect that could be like "MP3Gain", the free app on the internet that can apply Normalization & replaygain to MP3 files without having to re-encode them. I know that there is the Replaygain Calculation &Replaygain (apply) That can be used, but that only stores the info in the tags and can be played by supported players. But MP3Gain actually Changes the audio file Itself without re-encoding. If there could be a feature like this that could be applied to WMA, To reduce the loss of quality due to re-encoding, that would be fantastic.
Does this suggestion sound realistic and if so, what is the chance of it being a part of dBpoweramp?
