Batch ripper would show the bit rate of the existing files

I listen to a lot of podcasts and convert them to 32kBits. The easiest way to do this is to bat ch convert the entire folder. I would be nice to see which ones are already 32kBits and which ones aren't and just convert the ones that aren't.

If I understand correctly you can do this in Windows Explorer but not in the Converter window - the one that opens up when you right click on a folder to convert the entire folder.

You can enable it in the converter window that comes up when you tell it to convert a folder. Right-click on one of the columns and you can add Bit-Rate.

OK it must be missing it do you have to do it from a Wndows Explorer window? I'm right clicking on the folder and using the drop down. A new window opens an I have the tree view on the left and the files on the right. When I click on the column headers the only selection I get are "Check All", "Uncheck ALL" and "Invert Selection". so I must be missing where I activate the bit rate.

When I do that I get a window to select the files and the converter choice selectors comes up. But I still don't see anywhere to add the bit rate column. It's in the Windows Explorer window when I open a folder with mp3s but that is a pain to have to open that before I can make any conversions especially with a lot of sub folders.

In the batch converter window, you pick the folders with the files you want, then right-click on the column headings in the Batch Converter window and add the bitrate column.

This is what I did. I tired two different ways. First right click on the folder which brings up the Batch Converter window. Than I right click on the header - in the right pane - which is suppose to bring up the folder options. All I get is "Check All", "Uncheck All" and "Invert Selection". If I left click all it does is sort. If I use the Converter setting on the Start Menu it opens a window where I can select the files than it goes directly to the Converter Settings window where I can choice which format I want it converted too, compressions settings and output folder with DSP setting on the bottom.

Right-click on the "Name" column, that is where you check "Bitrate"

I appreciate your patiences! The same thing comes up when I right click any of the columns - "Check All", "Uncheck ALL" and "Invert Selection" that's it. Is there away to post images so I can show you what I'm doing?

                            Open Batch Converter

put a tick mark (click one in the empty square so there are two green ticks in the box) next to the main folder (such as Music) to select all files. Then click 'List', where it says 'Size' on the column title, right click there and make sure bit rate is checked. You can then sort on Bit Rate once all the tracks are loaded, by clicking the bitrate column title.
