Check Off of tracks ripped accurately

I would be happy if there was a program that made a database file or pulled up all the songs you have tried to rip and put either a check or an X next to them so that you could see which songs you have tried to rip and from what album that had passed or had errors. The error report file is great and all, but there is way too much information in there and its spread out into too many folders. If it was possible to somehow consolidate and create an excel database or even a list like what is within the program itself. It would be a sort of history.

Spoon any chance you could move this into the R13 discussion? I didn't realize there was one thread for that.

Here is ok, an update for r13 alpha will allow the AccurateRip ID tags to be shown in Batch Converter, so you will be able to select your music Folder >> List add the accuraterip tags and sort all your audio files on those tags.

Ah neat... So I should keep my failed files then I am guessing?

I have been asking Spoon to implement the option to:

          -Rip to a temporary directory
          -at the end of rip
--if all tracks are accurate, move the album to final directory
--if there are inaccurate tracks, move the album to a re-rip folder

-when discs with the same CD TOC (either repaired or different disc) as discs in the re-rip directory are placed into the ripper, the ripper will flag only those tracks that were inaccurate to re-rip. If all tracks are now accurate, the album/disc is moved to the final directory

Also, be sure to see my thread on RipSessions

great idea... excited to see this work!

in the end it would be nice to have even a simple text file listing the CDs ripped and track accuracy and last CRCs...

the idea is to someday in the future polish my old CDs and reinsert them to give a second round of ripping to try and fix earlier errors.

currently I rename the inaccurate files with an underscore before the name so I know which are bad, but this is tedious...

Turn on the logging option for secure ripping.
