    Wanted: manual/doc describing "rip status"

I've been through a lot of pages via Google, and have
yet to find a page that really documents the "Rip Status"
    column of dBpoweramp.

    I've seen:

red x AR (2) green outline "i" secure
red x AR (2) green outline check secure green CRC
red x AR (2) green outline check secure red CRC
    check Accurate (1) red CRC
red x AR (13) red x Insecure black CRC
red x AR (14) green check secure black CRC

That's a heck of a lot of combinations

    *three* undocumented colors for CRC????

I've found one web page where Spoon said that a
faded red x means "not in accurate rip".

Please ... give us a manual page where *ALL* the possible
    icons/words are documented!!

The man page should also document under what
    circumstances a "pass 2" is used .

Programming tip: if you can't explain it, there's a bug

    thanks,

    Stan

Re: Wanted: manual/doc describing "rip status"

From the CD ripper help file:
CRC shows the checksum calculated from the last rip, ripping twice and the CRC numbers will show in Green if matches the previous rip CRC, or in Red if miss-matches.
Spoon has mentioned elsewhere that a black CRC means the track has only been ripped once.

The Grey X and no AR number means the track is not in AccurateRip, as you already stated
As for the Red X, the AR number, and the green "i" or red x or check, see the CD ripper help file.
Red X before the AR number means AccurateRip says your CD rip was inaccurate according to "x" number of rips.
Check before AR means AccurateRip says your CD rip was accurate and "x" number of people agree with you.
    Also from the help file:
The green i indicates that frames had to be re-ripped, possibly and undetected error has slipped through.
The Red X After AR means that CD Ripper says it is unsecure.
As for when "pass 2" is used, see here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/secure-ripper.htm or the Advanced CD ripping help file.

User tip: Help files are there to help.
